Help Us Support the Bahati Foundation

Founded by world class cyclist Rahsaan Bahati, the mission of the Bahati Foundation is to support inner city youth in under-served communities through inspirational speaking engagements and cycling outreach programs. These are designed to motivate and empower kids toward higher achievement in education, music and sports.

For each jersey or bib sold, Pactimo will donate $20 to support the Bahati Foundation.

You can buy the jersey or bibs here.

What Goes into the Perfect Chamois

Watch this video from our chamois provider, Cytech. You’ll be amazed at what goes into the developing the perfect chamois.

Cytech’s vision was to imagine a totally elastic cycling chamois as the cyclist-bicycle interface. They patented the technology and have been developing it over the years. It was 1989 when they presented their first thermo-formed anatomic pad, with multi thicknesses and gel. It launched Elastic Interface® Technology and was an instant success, setting a worldwide standard.

Did you know that Pactimo is the only cycling apparel manufacturer to use Cytech in their custom apparel?

That’s right, we use Cytech in our Summit and Ascent custom shorts and bibs.

Matthew Haggett Joins Pactimo’s Designer Gallery Artists

We are excited to partner up with Portland, Oregon-based fine artist, designer, and illustrator Matthew Haggett.

Matthew will be designing limited-edition cycling apparel that will be featured in our online “Designer Gallery.” His first designs are bold and stylish, incorporating a retro design reminiscent of the 1970’s.

“We’re extremely happy to be working with such talented artists who are producing great looking cycling apparel,” said Pactimo’s CEO Frank Kim. ”Matthew’s sharp designs will continue our commitment to provide a break from the predictable offering of sublimated apparel.”

“Working with Pactimo has been great. I was so psyched when I saw the jersey samples,” Matthew said. “I was really trying to capture the history of cycling in my designs and think cyclists will like the bold colors and strength they convey.”

You can learn more about Matthew and his designs here.

The Coolest Bike Gear at the Sea Otter Classic

GQ Magazine selected Arlene Pedersen’s Day of the Dead jersey for their Coolest Bike Gear at the Sea Otter Classic roundup.

Arlene recently joined our Designer Gallery lineup and the cool jersey design is her first item specifically designed for Pactimo.

Like so many of our Designer Gallery artists, Arlene is a lover of cycling and athlete in her own right. A former Olympic Curling Champion, she moved to Tucson, Arizona, from central Canada and became inspired with the colors and textures of the Southwest. Influenced by Tucson’s international cycling community, Arlene shifted her fine art from canvas to fabric with the creation of her distinctive GoLOCO Jerseys line. “The jerseys are created art with the intention of beauty, but I still want anyone who wears one to feel strong and powerful,” Arlene says.
